Trial Consequences & Continuing Effects
Over the last month, Folkmore experienced:
  • With Lavender taking control of Folmore, there was the appearance of an obstacle course up in Never Fade, with very few routes to get in or out of there.
  • Connecting with other Star Children while tying knots in rope to create nets and ladders are a further safeguard to a rocky descent from Never Fade, or a quick way up if one enjoys the climb.
  • The goats were actively trying to keep Star Children put.
  • Unlike a normal situation, some things haven’t returned to normal from the previous month.
These led to the following lasting consequences:
  • The borders appeared to be blending together. This has continued and worsened, as things are still amiss in Folkmore.
  • Cruel Summer’s landmarks have not returned to normal, it’s still pretty easy to get turned around out there.
These effects continue:
  • Star Children who were transformed into water titans are still not collecting lore. Calling on the spirits or friends can ensure their needs are still met during this trying time. Lavender won’t let anyone go hungry.
Iteration Iteration
Thirteen's iteration Lavender continues to lead Folkmore. Star Children can tell by having more sleep disturbances, waking up in a cold sweat at random, falling asleep and waking up right away. Nightmares appear distorted, somewhat horror-themed and are fleeting.

Star Children may have difficulty contacting Lavender at this time. Thoth will step up to connect them, and conversations will be incredibly brief, before a sudden disconnection leaving behind the scent of a sun kissed field and freshly mowed lawn. It appears as though she’s very preoccupied with the major conflict coming to a head this month.

Weather & New Environmental Effects
  • Willow’s snowy weather is beginning to subside, as it shifts from snow to rain, one can expect a lot of cloudy days. The winds are only moderate though, it doesn’t seem like there are true storms on the horizon. At least one day each week will have sun showers. Spring is just around the corner.
  • With the seasons changing, Cruel Summer should be warming up, but it isn’t. The air remains crisp and cool, and the hours of sun seem to be less and less, especially the closer one gets to Exile.
  • The nicest weather can be found in Never Fade, as while there’s a light breeze, the temperature is perfect for a spring day. In fact, Never Fade is looking at clear skies all month. Star Children might find this location feels more inviting than anywhere else.
  • Unlike previous months, between the weather and the traffic, it’s easier than ever to make it to Tides, the nymphs appear to be fully at their post, the only lingering feel of those previous winter storms is that the water is a bit chilly, might be better to take a submarine.
  • Wintermute has been spared the continuous thunderstorms of the last month and has moved onto two weeks of warmer weather, as though spring might finally reach this place, but come April, light fluffy snow will begin to fall, the temperatures being just cold enough to keep the snow as snow.
  • Nothing about Exile looks stable, the sky remains dark, lightning streaks the sky often, the water remains rather icy, but breaks under the slightest weight. Baba Yaga still hasn’t moved from where it settled last month, in fact walking into Exile the path seems to be leading to the school, inviting visitors, but Star Children can expect to feel like someone is watching them in the chill in the air.

We Need Your Feedback!
  • The current event is the ending of this plot arc and we’re looking for your thoughts and input on what direction we should take next. We have several ideas for what we can do, and we’d love to know what you guys are thinking, what sounds good to you. There will be a feedback post this month, please look for it!
