CHECK-IN FORM
Please do not use this post, use the NEW Check-in page instead.
We do not require traditional "activity" check-ins, but we do require an interest check-in to ensure that our players are present and still interested in the characters they play.
You will be required to check-in during the 1-5th of the month. If you cannot access a computer during this time, please let a mod or friend know so they can check-in for you. On the 5th, an Activity Check reminder will go up.
You must check in your individual characters. If you fail to check in with any characters, they will be swept from the game.
If you missed check-in due to extenuating circumstances, please contact the mods ASAP and let them know the situation.
If we notice any concerning patterns with the same players missing check-ins and being swept from the game or being irresponsible with check-ins or squatting we will contact the player directly. This may include restrictions from reapplication into the game or actual activity requirements.
Please respect your fellow players and mods! We want to keep this game activity-free and active.
Once your check-in has been processed, you will receive a confirmation from our mod team. Thank you!
(frozen comment) September 2022
Player Name: Dex
Summarized Activity: So it turns out that if you try hard enough, and you are used to living in a tiny tin can and never going outside enough, you actually can live in-or-adjacent-to the labs at Thoth with a complete failure to have a work-life balance? Especially when you come from a canon that pointedly does not have any form of social network/internet/Facebook equivalent?
He made himself a research project, very shortly after arriving and finding out the basic details of what world he landed in, and is exactly as bad as Harrowhark at remembering to do petty things like "eat" and "sleep" when the answer could, instead, be "research more" — so it's a good thing, really, that Gideon has occasionally shown up to shove him toward food or a bed (read: pallet under a lab table) in the process of carting Harrow wherever it is they go.
(The research in question, so far, is basically "compare and contrast beliefs about death, dying, The Afterlife, and what to do with dead bodies, between every culture he can get his hands on records about same", fwiw.)
