Hello Folkies! This is our monthly Story of Us post where we get together to make game announcements, ask for any feedback or suggestions, and remind our players of upcoming dates!
Upcoming weather and information for June
🦊 Agrona, who has finally taken a more human form to welcome the next month, has been quite happy with her trials, but she wants more. As June comes in, she decides to fill Folkmore with bright colors: some houses' colors may be temporarily changed to rainbow instead, the pavements of the streets are now blue, pink, and white, and many restaurants, coffee shops and pubs have colorful drinks and foods.
🦊 During the night, there are many shows of theater, drag, and pantomime. Love, acceptance, equality, and -of course- fun are big themes, and the audience is expected to participate. Whoever wants to join in is more than welcome.
🦊 Despite the clear shift in mood, Agrona decided to continue her May trials throughout June as well. Star Children can still be randomly brought to Cruel Summer by Agrona, or visit the place on their own to face the trials that are still ongoing.
🦊 The weather is incredibly nice outside, and even Wintermute doesn't feel as cold as it usually is. Exile still feels quite oppressive, but the School of Baba Yaga will quickly pick up whoever is visiting this month instead of letting anyone wander and get lost.
🦊 Remember that humming at the edge of Folkmore? It's still there. Louder, now. There is also something going on Southwest of Folkmore, by the edge of Cruel Summer, and up North, by the edge of Wintermute. It feels like the land is shifting and moving under people's feet like a slow earthquake. Nothing big or drastic, but it's probably a good thing there are no houses in those areas or they'd be moving. The Spirits continue to ignore it.
Mod notes and Reminders
🦊 There will be a surprise mini-event at the end of next month. The OOC post will go up on the 24th of June and the IC post will go up on the 28th of June, so keep an eye out for those dates.
🦊 We have changed the TDM introduction to clarify how it fits within the game. Everyone is welcome to tag the TDM and use its prompts for logs, network posts, etc.
🦊 Speaking of which, our TDM will also be posted soon and invitations open today!
🦊 Don't forget our Check-in opens on the 1st (or around that date, we aren't very strict!).
