The shivering was an act. Jinx was being dramatic as she tends to be.

But the other woman is right, this is a hard adjustment on Jinx as she's alone, which is sort of a trigger for her.

"I'm not hurt. I need to figure out what this place is and why I was dragged here!"

She pauses, unfurling herself and sitting cross-legged. Mel may have noticed the giant gatling gun that can be seen once Jinx is no longer obstructing the view.
