Splendid! Then we'll continue. Our tale, today, involves three worlds nestled within the branches of the Worlds Tree.

[He reached out, taking into his hand the golden sphere, the ice-leaden sphere, and the blue and green sphere at the middle.]

The Jotun of Jotunheim, [The frozen sphere moved to the center as he held his hand forward, the spheres moving around between his extended hands as though framed there.] grew tired of the frozen wastes of their homeworld, and set their sights on Midgard, your homeworld, with its warm summers and temperate springs, crisp autumns and its sun's warmth. [With each description, detail grew on the 'Earth' sphere, a tiny shining sun appeared around which it began to orbit, light and shadow illuminated its day and night hemispheres.] Laufey, King of Jotunheim, was cunning and bold, and though loyal to Odin Allfather, King of Asgard and Protector of the Nine Realms, assembled a vast army of Jotun and, knowing paths into and out of Migard that bypassed the Rainbow Bridge, turned his war machine of Midgard with such ferocity Odin was certain it would mean the extinction of mankind.

[The space between Loki's hands acted as a diorama, enacting the mounting of Laufey's armies in Jotunheim and their travel, and the fierce assault on the lands of Earth, with longships burning, and what appear to be 9th or 10th century villages and castle towns crumbling under the surging armies of Jotun, who tower over the humans and smite them with ice-built clubs, spears of ice, and the power to freeze them solid.]

It really was a trying time for Earth, wasn't it?
